Begin this exciting journey exploring the best attractions of the city of Lima, and its three historical periods; the pre – Hispanic, the Colonial and the Modern. Lima will surprise you. Then in Cusco see the archaeological sites, and its beautiful landscapes on a tour of its Valleys, and then travel by train to the great Sacred City of the Incas, MACHU PICCHU.

This trip allows you to know one of the most colorful and joyful cities in South America Rio de Janeiro and its colossal Cristo Corcovado, in the rhythm of samba continue with the impressive Iguazú Falls, located within the framework of three borders; Argentina, Brazil, and Paraguay. The experience is completed with a visit to the beautiful city of Buenos Aires, where you can enjoy good wine and tango nights

The program offers THREE world wonders, IGUAZÚ, THE CRISTO CORCOVADO AND EL MAGICO MACHU PICCHU complemented with a wonderful tour to Bariloche, city of chocolate, forests and skiing.

TOUR DETAILS:

Day 1: ………ARRIVE LIMA

Upon arrival in Lima, you will be transported to your hotel. The rest of the day at leisure. Night in Lima.

Day 2: LIMA - CITY TOUR

Breakfast. You will be picked up to enjoy your half-day panoramic city Tour. You will see the Colonial center, the Main Square, the Palacio de Gobierno, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and Lima town hall. Also, you will visit San Francisco, a convent with cloisters and catacombs of the Colonial era. The tour will continue through the traditional areas of residential and commercial Lima to end with spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and beaches in the district of Miraflores. Return to the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Optional bike tour, gastronomic tours available upon request.

Night in Lima.

Day 3: LIMA CUSCO CITY TOUR & RUINS NEARBY

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Cusco, and upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will have a City Tour, visiting the Cathedral of Santo Domingo, known as Q’oricancha or Temple of the Sun. You will also visit the nearby archeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enco, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to the hotel. Night in Cuzco.

Day 4: SACRED VALLEY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will take a tour to visit the beautiful town of Pisac, its traditional market, the popular show and its narrow streets. (Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday). You will continue the tour through the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, where you can enjoy a nice buffet lunch. Then you will visit Ollantaytambo, a still inhabited Inca City where a complex system of irrigation channels and foundations still remain from the Inca civilization and where much of the town was built. The archeological site of Ollantaytambo has large groups of terraces, fortresses, squares, channels and the Real Casa del Sol, a megalithic temple of great mysticism. Night in Cuzco or Sacred Valley.

Day 5: MACHU PICCHU GUIDED TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. You will be transported to the train station to board the train that will begin our tour to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu, declared by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage for Humanity and chosen as one of the modern Seven Wonders. The train will take you to Aguas Calientes, where you will ascend to the sacred City of the Incas, “Machu Picchu”, located 112 km/69m away from the city of Cuzco and 2,360 miles above sea level. Once there, you will have a guided tour where you will see palaces, temples, houses, stores, and buildings. Enjoy a great lunch at the unique Sanctuary Lodge. After the visit, you will descend to Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo where you will have lunch.  At the appropriate time, we take the train back to Cuzco, and are you will be taken to your hotel. Night in Cuzco.

Day 6: CUSCO - LIMA - RIO DE JANEIRO.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time you will be transported to the airport for your flight to Rio (most likely via Lima).

Upon arrival in Rio, you will be transported to your selected hotel.  Night in Rio de Janeiro.

Day 7: RIO DE JANEIRO - CORCOBADO & TIJUCA - JEEP TOUR .

Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning enjoy our tour to Corcovado & Tijuca Forest. Following hotel pick up in an open-air, jeep, we will make our way to Corcovado Mountain, located in the Tijuca Atlantic Forest – the largest urban forest in the world and home to the famed Christ the Redeemer statue which was recently elected as one of the 7 “New Wonders of the World”. Stop at the Dona Marta Observatory and Corcovado to admire the views. The tour continues up Paineiras road and stops at the Tijuca Forest, where guests will embark on a trail up to the Cascatinha Falls. Following Canoas Road, the tour passes by Pepino beach (‘Cucumber Beach’).

Day 8: RIO DE JANEIRO -HALF DAY SUGAR LOAF

Breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy your half-day Sugar Loaf Mountain. Over a million tourists every year visit the world famous Pão de Açúcar (Sugar Loaf Mountain), which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from a small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the conical shape of the clay containers sugar was originally shipped in. The first cable car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay and its islands. From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, Corcovado and downtown Rio. Free afternoon.

Day 9: RIO DE JANEIRO – IGUAZU – BRAZILIAN SIDE FALLS

Breakfast at your hotel. At appropriate time transfer to the airport to take your domestic flight from Rio de Janeiro to Foz Do Iguazu. Once there you will enjoy a half day excursion on the Brazilian side of the falls. After your excursion transfer to your hotel. Night in Iguazu.

Day 10: IGUAZU FALLS ARGENTINE SIDE.

After breakfast, you will leave for a full day private excursion with an English-speaking guide to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. You will be guided around several paths inside the National Park and have many opportunities to enjoy the incredible views of the more than 200 waterfalls. At noon, you will have free time for lunch and the chance to take the Optional Great Adventure navigation tour, which takes you for a boat ride around, and under, the falls – prepare to get wet if you choose this highly recommended adventure! In the afternoon, you will board the train that leads you to the greatest fall in the park: “La Garganta del Diablo”

Day 11: IGUAZU BUENOS AIRES.

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time you will be transported to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.    Night in Bariloche.

Day 12: BUENOS AIRES CITY TOUR & TANGO

Buenos Aires – Day at leisure + Dinner &Tango show.

Breakfast at your hotel. After your breakfast enjoy a half-day City Tour that will provide you with a general view of the city and some of its attractions. During the tour (about three hours) you will be able to visit Retiro, Palermo, 9th of July Avenue, the Colon Opera House and Obelisk, Downtown (the Congress, the Mayo Square, Mayo Avenue, Government House), Puerto Madero, San Telmo with stops in Recoleta for the famous cemetery, Francia Square and La Boca with the colorful Caminito.

Afternoon at leisure.

At night you will get to experience the wonderful Dinner and Tango show. Night in Buenos Aires.

Day 13: BUENOS AIRES - AT LEISURE

Breakfast at your hotel. Day at leisure to enjoy this amazing city at your own pace.
Optional excursions are available like Parrilla tours, milonga tours, Delta Navigation, full day ranch tour, full day Colonia,  etc.  Night in Buenos Aires.

Day 14: BUENOS AIRES - BARILOCHE

Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time you will be transported to the airport for your flight to Bariloche

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.    Night in Bariloche.

Day 15: BARILOCHE – CHICO CIRCUIT

Breakfast. In the morning we will do the traditional CHICO CIRCUIT: We will visit the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, the Bahía López and Panoramic Point viewpoints, a place where even the most experienced observer will feel really small. You will be able to ascend the Cerro Campanario in Aerosilla, where your view extends over the beautiful panorama … Free afternoon. Accommodation.

Day 16: BARILOCHE - AT LEISURE

Breakfast. This is a beautiful city of Swiss descent, with a privileged natural environment. We are sure that you will enjoy a beautiful day off walking its beautiful streets or ask us for a beautiful optional excursion to San Martín de los Andes or El Bosque de los Arrayanes. Accommodation.

Day 17: BARILOCHE - BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast at your hotel. At appropriate time transfer to the airport to connect back to Buenos Aires .

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.    Night in Buenos Aires.

Day 18: BUENOS AIRES - OUT

Breakfast at your hotel. At appropriate time transfer to the airport to continue to home…

Passengers are responsible for having a valid passport (valid at least 6months before travel) and any visas required.

Peru may require visa for some nationalities. Please note that some countries require a reciprocity entrance fee.

3-PRICES LAND SERVICES & FLIGHT FARES:

Prices are per person and are expressed in US dollars. Prices are subject to change without any notice.

The CHD rate applies for children from 2 to 10 years traveling accompanied by two adults and sharing a bed with them. Maximum 1 child is allowed with CHD rate per room. If you require additional bed you must pay an extra cost.
