The Route of the Gods is an ancestral journey to the sacred lands of ancient Peru, following the trail of the constellation of the Southern Cross and evoking the eternal Andean gods, which are manifested through color, joy, spirituality and harmony. It is an itinerary with fixed departures and confirmed spaces, which allows the traveler to discover the most important attractions of the southern circuit of Peru. The program can be taken in its entirety or incorporated into any of the five points marked in the program, depending on the interest and possibilities of each one.

TOUR DETAILS:
Day 1: LIMA
Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free.
Day 2: LIMA – CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour where we can see the Colonial Center, the Main Square, the Palacio de Gobierno, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and Lima townhall. Visit San Francisco convent, the traditional areas of residential and commercial Lima. Finally, enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and beaches in the district of Miraflores.
Day 3: BALLESTAS ISLANDS / NASCA
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port to board the boat that will begin the tour of the Paracas National Reserve. Transfer to Nasca. Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day 4: NASCA / AREQUIPA
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airfield of Nasca. Fly over the giant and enigmatic Nasca lines. Trip to Arequipa by bus in the afternoon or if you prefer you can return to Lima.
Day 5: AREQUIPA (LIMA / AREQUIPA)
Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel. Free morning. Guided tour where we will visit the Main Square, the Cathedral, the Company of Jesus and the Convent of Santa Catalina.
Day 6: AREQUIPA – EXCURSION TO THE SCENIC OVERVIEW OF THE VOLCANO
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to the Colca Canyon. The route passes through Pampa Cañahuas, Vicuña National Reserve, Aguada Blanca reserve and the scenic overview of the volcanoes. View of Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca snowy peaks. Transfer to the hotel in Chivay. Free evening.
Day 7: COLCA / PUNO (LIMA / JULIACA)
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to Cruz del Condor viewpoint. Departure by bus to Puno in the afternoon. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day 8: TITICACA LAKE
After breakfast, we will visit the Uros floating islands and we will perform a thanksgiving ritual to mamacocha (the water element) for those who wish to participate.
Day 9: PUNO / CUSCO (LIMA/CUSCO)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the ground station to board the tourist bus to Cusco. On the way, we will visit Pucara site museum, “La Raya” (4335 m), Raqchi and Sicuani to enjoy a buffet lunch. Visit to Andahuaylillas church. Reception and transfer to the hotel.
Day 10: CUSCO - CITY TOUR + NEARBY RUINS
Breakfast at the hotel. City tour where we will visit the Cathedral and Santo Domingo, known as Q’oricancha or Temple of the Sun, Sacsayhuaman, Q’enco, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
Day 11: SACRED VALLEY EXCURSION
Breakfast at the hotel. Early visit to the beautiful town of Pisac, its traditional market and the popular show. We will continue the tour through the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, where you can enjoy a nice buffet lunch. Visit to Ollantaytambo. Overnight at Sacred Valley.
Day 12: MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast at the hotel. Guided excursion to the sacred city of Machu Picchu. Lunch included. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.
Day 13: MACHU PICCHU / CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day. Suggested excursions are a visit to the medicinal hot springs or make a second visit to Machu Picchu. The option you choose for today is not included in the itinerary provided by Peru A Travel. Return to Cusco and overnight.
Day 14: CUSCO / PUERTO MALDONADO (CUSCO/LIMA)
Breakfast at the hotel. Flight to Puerto Maldonado. Transfer to the pier to sail to Tambopata Reserve and stay at the lodge. Lunch. Jungle trails expedition to observe flora and fauna in the afternoon. Dinner.
Day 15: TAMBOPATA NATIONAL RESERVE
Breakfast at the lodge. Navigation on the river to take a jungle trail and arrive at a lake where we will canoe. Lunch. Canoeing down the river in the evening. Dinner.
Day 16: PUERTO MALADONADO / LIMA
Breakfast at the lodge. Transfer to the city by boat to go to the airport and board the flight back to Lima.

Peru may require visa for some nationalities. Please note that some countries require a reciprocity entrance fee.
