PAT EM 137 - MYSTICAL EXPERIENCE: MESSAGES FOR THE SOUL ON A SACRED JOURNEY

Upon arrival, reception at the airport, transfer to the selected hotel and lodging.

Meeting and encounter of the group with the Guide – Instructor who will welcome   you and opening a chat.

Breakfast at the hotel.  At 09:00hs we will start a panoramic tour of the city, where we can see the Colonial Center, the Main Square, the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and Lima town hall. Also, we will visit San Francisco, a convent with cloisters and catacombs of the Colonial era. The tour will continue through the traditional areas of residential and commercial Lima to end with a spectacular panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and beaches in the district of Miraflores.

Tour guide to have introductory information and review the day’s activities. At 10:00 hrs., start the tour to visit the Pachacamac archaeological center located approximately 31 kilometers south of Lima. This was an important ceremonial center of significant mystic value during Pre-Incas times where the Pachacamac God was worshipped.

When the Incas arrived to this area, they respected the religion of the conquered people but, at the same time, built the temples of The Sun and The Moon. Lunch included

Transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting at the airport and transfer you to your hotel.

In the afternoon, pick up from the hotel to start the tour around the colonial city, built on the foundations of Inca palaces. We will have a city tour, visiting the Main Square and the Cathedral and Santo Domingo, known as Q’oricancha or Temple of the Sun.

Also we will visit to the four altars in the outskirts of Cusco that represent the four elements of nature: TAMBOMACHAY, altar dedicated to the water, spring for purification of the spirit and energizing; PUCA PUCARA, altar to the air, small red fort with watchtowers and terreplains; Q’ENQO, altar to the fire, sanctuary that exhibits symbolisms and the three levels of Andean Cosmogony (Hanan Pacha, Qay Pacha, and Uccu Pacha); and SACSAYHUAMAN, altar to the earth and a Major Temple of The Incas, cosmic and energy center where engraved messages for the new age can be seen. Transfer to the hotel and overnight at Cusco.   (B.)

In the morning we will start the tour by bus to Ollantaytambo (City of the WIND) that is located at the convergence of 2 powerful canyons and rivers. It is home to a surviving traditional community. We will visit the absolutely unique and ancient Inka city of Ollantaytambo and be impressed by the high technology of architecture.

Ollantaytambo was a very important sanctuary; it also was a “tampu” in order to enable control of the roads toward the “Antisuyo” (jungle).

It was also the home of the Nobls who inhabited this city. There was a very large and well planned urban sector, a square surrounded by important buildings and towards the south of the town an impressive “Kallanka”; a building of colossal dimensions and completely covered. It served as a shelter and perhaps also as a barracks for the large army in the region. The place is surrounded by mountains that produce sounds with the babbling of the sacred springs, which hold the spirits of Wiracocha and the Condor.

Much of the route that we will take is bordering the Wilcamayu, which means Sacred River, that represented the milky way for the ancient Peruvians, it symbolizes the return of the waters to the ocean.

Before dinner, we will share a lesson about Andean cosmovision and a ceremony with our Paqo (Andean priest)

Breakfast at the hotel.  At the indicated time we will continue the Pilgrimage. This time we will go by train to the Sacred City of the Incas Machu Picchu,  where we will visit the energy points and we will work in this magnificent field of cosmic energy.

Machu Piccchu  is a magic place of extraordinary beauty that represents the most important cult center, as well as of mystic and esoteric studies of the Incas. It is considered one of the main magnetic and energetic points of our planet and, in several aspects, one of the most important monuments of mankind inheritance.

During this visit, we will realize that Machu Picchu is a beautiful legacy that shows how there were no coincidences or chances in its construction. Everything seems to have been foreseen, ordained, regulated, and harmonized in a fabulous stone work that was built respecting the environment and mother nature in a way that is still admired and appreciated by everyone who has the opportunity to visit it.

We will have a meditation to look for the cosmic spiral that brings us closer to the Condor. In the afternoon we will return to Aguas Calientes to go to our hotel in the town. Meditation session and conclusions.   (B. L.)

Breakfast in the hotel, On your own, with an additional payment you can take the option of returning to Machu Picchu, you can climb the Huayna Picchu mountain.  Other options are to visit the Inca Bridge or the temple of the Moon.

Return towards Cusco. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free for personal activities.
