TOUR DETAILS
DAY 1 - AREQUIPA - CITY TOUR & CONVENT OF SANTA CATALINA
Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the selected hotel.
At 14:00 hrs., we will begin a guided tour of the main tourist attractions of the city, where we will visit the Monastery of cloistered nuns of Santa Catalina, built in the 16th century and opened to the public since 1970. Santa Catalina is one of the most notable and beautiful buildings in the city, and behind its walls is more than 400 years of history. The city of Arequipa has various Spanish-type buildings and old churches built based on ashlar (white volcanic stone), among which the Cathedral and the church of the Company of Jesus stand out.
DAY 2 - COUNTRYSIDE TOUR - SABANDIA MILL
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the guided tour around the city going through the typical neighborhood of Paucarpata, where we can observe pre-Inca terraces, and the typical Arequipa countryside. We will visit the famous Sabandía Mill from the 17th century, an architectural jewel that was for centuries the supplier of flour which was the main food for the Arequipa population, and the Mansion where the founder of Arequipa, García Manuel de Carvajal, one of the most prominent examples of Arequipa civil architecture from the 16th century. Arequipa, like the other cities in Peru, will surprise you with its flavours and colours. (B. L.)
DAY 3 - AREQUIPA
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time we will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the airport or bus terminal to continue with your itinerary. (B.)

The rates of the programs include transfers and pick-ups for excursions, exclusively to and from hotels located in central areas of the touristic neighbourhoods, and with easy access for the vehicles. If the client requests accommodation in different areas, an extra charge on the value of the program must be considered.

Peru A Travel reserves the right to alter the itinerary at any time, especially, if necessary, to ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers.

For all reservations the standard check-in time applies, and early arrival at a destination does not guarantee that hotel rooms are available, unless you wish to pay for additional nights of accommodation to ensure immediate access to rooms.

Check-in and check-out schedules may vary according to the policies of each hotel, usually being the check-in time between 13:00 hours and 15:00 hours, and the check-out time between 09:00 hours and 10:00 hours.

All our accommodation rates include breakfast. The breakfasts have schedules assigned according to the policies of each hotel, being generally between 06:00 and 10:00 hours. In case the passenger(s) has(have) a transfer or leave before the assigned hours, they will lose this benefit, not being able to be compensated in another hotel, or requesting any refund. Room service or box breakfast services have an additional cost and do not compensate for breakfast that cannot be served.
