TOUR DETAILS:
Day 1: CUSCO
At your arrival, our staff will be waiting at the airport to transfer you to the selected hotel. Rest of the day off.
Day 2: EXCURSION TO VINICUNCA (RAINBOW MOUNTAIN)
Between 4:00 and 4:30 am we will start picking up the passengers in their differents hostings.
We will depart from Cusco and have breakfast at 5:30 to later head into the adventure of the Rainbow Mountain, passing by different small villages such as the colorful town of Pitumarca. During the journey we wil observe differents landscapes multicolored formed by crops, rocks in the style of andenerías nicely sculpted by mother nature, crystalline tributaries likewise a variety of Andean fauna such as llama, alpaca, sheep, vicuñas, condors etc.Around 7:30 am we will arrive at the town of Ocefina (Chillca) and descend from the transport to start the waited walk towards the Rainbow Mountain Mountain. This walk lasts approximately 3.5 hours, and we will pass through mountains that change colors along the way, as well as small streams of frozen water that feed and give life to this valley. Around 11:00 am we will arrive at the point of union between the mountains of colors and the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, at an altitude of 5033 meters above sea level, better known as Vinicunca, a mystical place where we can appreciate this natural wonder in its maximum expression. You can take pictures and rest for about 1 hour, while contemplating the incredible colors of the mountains.Then we will start the descent (since after noon it tends to rain and snow), towards mobility (Approximately 3 hours), to then head towards where we will have a delicious lunch. Finally we will return to the city of Cusco at around 18:00 hs
Day 3: EXCURSION TO MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to the train station to start the excursion to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu, recognized as one of the wonders of the world and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
The train takes us to the town of Aguas Calientes, from where we will ascend by bus to the Archaeological Center and start the guided tour that lasts approximately 2 hours. During the visit you can see temples, squares, terraces, houses, barns, as well as the great biodiversity that exists in the surroundings. It is worth noting that the beauty of Machu Picchu is exalted by the extraordinary scenery where it is located.
Around the citadel has been formed a National Reserve that has an area of 32,500 hectares, and that includes a constellation of archaeological monuments, which in our opinion, were built as part of the Machu Picchu complex and not in isolation.
At the indicated time we will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we have lunch included. Return to the city of Cusco. Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel.
Day 4: CUSCO
Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to continue your itinerary
