TOUR DETAILS:

Day 1: CUSCO - CITY TOUR & NEARBY RUINS

At your arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to your hotel.

At 13.00 hrs. we will begin our city tour visiting the Cathedral and de Convent of Santo Domingo, known as Temple of the Sun or Q’oricancha. Likewise we will visit the surrounding archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Q’enco, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. Return to your hotel.

Day 2: SACRED VALLEY FULL DAY TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will visit the beautiful village of Pisac, its traditional market, the popular trade fair and its narrow streets). We will continue the tour through the Sacred Valley of Urubamba, where you can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Then we will visit Ollantaytambo, a still inhabited Inca City that preserves a complex system of irrigation Canals and foundations of the time when much of the village was built. The archaeological site of Ollantaytambo has large groups of terraces, fortresses, squares, canals and the Sun Royal House, a megalithic temple of great mystical value. Transfer to the hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Day 3: WIÑAY WAYNA – MACHU PICCHU

Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the train station to travel to Km.104. From here we will begin a walk that will lead us to the great sacred mountain: Machu Picchu.

After a two-hour walk, we will take a break to have lunch. Right after, we will continue to the archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna. Time to admire this beauty place. We will continue in the afternoon in the cloud forest, filled with bromeliads, orchids and tree ferns. As we walk the last part of the way we pass many impressive features such as the stone stairs and Tambos (resting places in the Inca’s time). We will climb 60 stairs and finally we will reach Inti Punku, well known as the Sun Gate, gateway to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu. From this point, we can admire this wonder of the world. Then we will descend for 45 minutes till get to the famous viewpoint to enjoy the sunset. Descend to the entry of Machupicchu where we will board the bus to Aguas Calientes.

Day 4: MACHU PICCHU / AGUAS CALIENTES / CUSCO

Very early breakfast. We will begin a walk to the Sacred City of Machu Picchu declared by UNESCO as Cultural Heritage for Humanity and chosen as one of the modern seven wonders.

Once we reach the archaeological site we will begin a guided tour around the citadel that will last about 3 hours. During the tour you will find temples, palaces, squares and streets of military and agricultural areas. The beauty of Machu Picchu is exalted by the extraordinary scene where it is located. Around the citadel, the National Reserve covers an area of ​​32.500 hectares and includes a constellation of archaeological monuments which we believe that were built as part of the complex of Machu Picchu and not in isolation.

Free time to enjoy the archaeological site. At the scheduled time with the guide, we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will have lunch before our return to Cusco.

Train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 5: CUSCO

Breakfast at the hotel. At the arranged time we will transfer you to the airport to continue with your itinerary.

Passengers are responsible for having a valid passport (valid at least 6months before travel) and any visas required.

Peru may require visa for some nationalities. Please note that some countries require a reciprocity entrance fee.

3-PRICES LAND SERVICES & FLIGHT FARES:

Prices are per person and are expressed in US dollars. Prices are subject to change without any notice.

The CHD rate applies for children from 2 to 10 years traveling accompanied by two adults and sharing a bed with them. Maximum 1 child is allowed with CHD rate per room. If you require additional bed you must pay an extra cost.
