PAT Ex 0162 - AMAZON CHARMS

On arrival at the city of Iquitos, reception and transfer to the pier to navigate in “Pamacaris”, typical local boats, for about an hour and a half, up to the jungle lodge.

Lunch and accommodation.

These programs will allow you to know the Amazon, appreciate nature, learn about its inhabitant´s costumes and experiment an encounter with the great river, the Amazonic flora and fauna.

You will be able to realize small walks through the virgin jungle, navigate through the rivers, fish and realize photographic safaris; you will find yourself face to face with monkey, observe endemic birds, find yourself surrounded by butterflies, stare at alligators and luckily enjoy the presence of the famous pink dolphins. During the night, you will be able to relax with the smoothing sounds of the jungle and enjoy a nice, fresh drink in the lodge bar, all while talking about the experiences lived though the day and sharing some fabulous local legends in good company.

In the morning we will have a bird watching tour.

After breakfast, transfer to the city of Iquitos, reception and accommodation at the hotel.

At the arranged time we will go to Quistococha, a tourist park located on the left bank of Rio Nanay, at 13.5 km of Highway Iquitos – Nauta (south east of Iquitos), with an area of 369 hectares. It has various settings, such as an aquarium, where you can see small fishes and larger fishes like the Paiche or Tarpon. There is also a Serpentarium, where you can see shawls, an anaconda and the black iguana. Likewise, Quistococha has a gazebo where you can see birds like the blue and red macaw, talking parrot, etc. You will also get close to large animals such as tapir, puma, ocelot and monkeys. Finally, like a complement, you will be able to admire the varieties of timber trees and fruit trees that grows in this paradisiac place.
