Chicama is a world-renowned point; It is the queen of kilometre-long waves and if the right conditions are given we are talking about the longest left wave in the world, measuring up to 2.5 km long. It is located in Puerto Malabrigo, on the northern coast of Peru, at Km 614 of the North Pan-American Highway. It is a common scenario for world records for distance traveled, time and maneuvers in the same wave.

TOUR DETAILS:
Day 1: LIMA
Upon arrival our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel.
Day 2: LIMA - TRUJILLO
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy the city of Lima and the beautiful neighborhood of Miraflores. For this day you can request an optional excursion. At night we will transfer you to the station to board the bus to the city of Trujillo (8 hrs trip during the night).
Day 3: TRUJILLO / CHICAMA
Upon arrival our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the hotel in Chicama. Day off to enjoy Chicama. Overnight.
Day 4: CHICAMA
Breakfast at the hotel. Day off to enjoy Chicama. Overnight.
Day 5: CHICAMA
Breakfast at the hotel. Day off to enjoy Chicama. Overnight.
Day 6: CHICAMA / TRUJILLO / LIMA
Breakfast at the hotel. At the coordinated time we will transfer you to the terminal to board your bus bound for the city of Lima. Upon arrival our staff will be waiting for you to transfer you to the airport or your hotel.
CONSIDERATIONS:
- All rates are per person, are expressed in US dollars and apply only to foreign passengers or Peruvians not resident in Peru.
- The rates do not apply to residents with a stay of more than 60 days, or for corporate passengers (from 4 nights to more in Lima).
- Prices are subject to change without notice and to the General Conditions of Peru A Travel.
- Reservation requests must include the full name of each passenger, nationality, passport number, age and date of birth.
- If the hotels suggested for this program are not available at the time of confirmation, our team will offer similar alternatives, previous coordination.
- The rates of the programs include transfers and pick-ups for excursions, exclusively to and from hotels located in central areas of the touristic neighbourhoods, and with easy access for the vehicles. If the client requests accommodation in different areas, an extra charge on the value of the program must be considered.
- Peru A Travel reserves the right to alter the itinerary at any time, especially, if necessary, to ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers.
- For all reservations the standard check-in time applies, and early arrival at a destination does not guarantee that hotel rooms are available, unless you wish to pay for additional nights of accommodation to ensure immediate access to rooms.
- Check-in and check-out schedules may vary according to the policies of each hotel, usually being the check-in time between 13:00 hours and 15:00 hours, and the check-out time between 09:00 hours and 10:00 hours.
- All our accommodation rates include breakfast. The breakfasts have schedules assigned according to the policies of each hotel, being generally between 06:00 and 10:00 hours. In case the passenger(s) has(have) a transfer or leave before the assigned hours, they will lose this benefit, not being able to be compensated in another hotel, or requesting any refund. Room service or box breakfast services have an additional cost and do not compensate for breakfast that cannot be served.
- For reservations that include train service, seats are assigned according to car availability. Seating can only be arranged after tickets have been issued.
