TOUR DETAILS
Day 1: AREQUIPA - CITY TOUR & CONVENT OF SANTA CATALINA
Upon arrival, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport to transfer you to the selected hotel.
At 14:00 hrs., we will begin a guided tour of the main tourist attractions of the city, where we will visit the Monastery of cloistered nuns of Santa Catalina, built in the 16th century and opened to the public since 1970. Santa Catalina is one of the most notable and beautiful buildings in the city, and behind its walls is more than 400 years of history. The city of Arequipa has various Spanish-type buildings and old churches built based on ashlar (white volcanic stone), among which the Cathedral and the church of the Company of Jesus stand out.
Day 2: EXCURSION TO THE SCENIC OVERVIEW OF THE VOLCANO, COLCA CANYON
Breakfast at the hotel. For this tour we leave the city, very early going behind the snow-capped Chachani, heading to Pampa Cañahuas, a National Vicuña Reserve also known as the Colca Window. On the tour we will see the Mollepunco cave and make a stop at the Volcanoes viewpoint. Arriving at the town of Chivay, transfer and accommodation in a hotel. Free afternoon to visit the hot springs or rest. (B.)
Day 3: EXCURSION TO THE SCENIC OVERVIEW OF THE CROSS OF THE CONDOR
Breakfast at the hotel. Early in the morning we will be on our way to the Condor Cross viewpoint and along the way we will see the typical towns of Yanque and Maca, as well as appreciate the hanging tombs, Pre-Inca terraces, etc. Once the tour is over, we will begin our return to the city of Arequipa. Day 4: AREQUIPA
Breakfast at the hotel. At the arranged time we will transfer you to the airport or bus station to continue with your itinerary. (B.)

If the hotels suggested for this program are not available at the time of confirmation, our team will offer similar alternatives, previous coordination.

The rates of the programs include transfers and pick-ups for excursions, exclusively to and from hotels located in central areas of the touristic neighbourhoods, and with easy access for the vehicles. If the client requests accommodation in different areas, an extra charge on the value of the program must be considered.

Peru A Travel reserves the right to alter the itinerary at any time, especially, if necessary, to ensure the comfort and safety of the passengers.

For all reservations the standard check-in time applies, and early arrival at a destination does not guarantee that hotel rooms are available, unless you wish to pay for additional nights of accommodation to ensure immediate access to rooms.

Check-in and check-out schedules may vary according to the policies of each hotel, usually being the check-in time between 13:00 hours and 15:00 hours, and the check-out time between 09:00 hours and 10:00 hours.

All our accommodation rates include breakfast. The breakfasts have schedules assigned according to the policies of each hotel, being generally between 06:00 and 10:00 hours. In case the passenger(s) has(have) a transfer or leave before the assigned hours, they will lose this benefit, not being able to be compensated in another hotel, or requesting any refund. Room service or box breakfast services have an additional cost and do not compensate for breakfast that cannot be served.

For reservations that include train service, seats are assigned according to car availability. Seating can only be arranged after tickets have been issued.
